The Game

Pathfinder Society is a worldwide fantasy roleplaying campaign using the Pathfinder’s Second Edition ruleset. (Starfinder uses a similar system but in a sci-fi future fantasy setting.)

Take on the role of an agent of the Pathfinder Society! This legendary league of explorers, archaeologists, and adventurers is dedicated to discovering and chronicling the greatest mysteries and wonders of an ancient world. And they could use your help, as the world is full of surprises…

What are the rules like?  For those more familiar with Dungeons & Dragons, you’ll find plenty of similarities, but plenty of differences as well. Pathfinder really took off as a effectively a spin-off adaptation of D&D 3rd Edition, or more specifically, 3.5e.  Some might even call Pathfinder “D&D 3.75.” But Pathfinder has grown to have a personality, setting, and humor all its own, with a unique play-feel that has set it solidly as the 2nd most popular RPG on the market today.

Prepare for Adventure

To find out more about the system and obtain free Pathfinder resources, visit the Pathfinder Society website. There you can find pre-gen characters, character sheets, Guide to Organized Play, and more. Or check out Paizo’s home page with loads of fun Pathfinder and Starfinder information.

You can also join the Dire Badger Lodge – this group’s local Guild chapter through Board Game Geek. There you can discuss with the group after hours, view the calendar, and stay in touch with the organizers.

Just want to ask some questions and see what its about? Stop by to chat with the GM and other players.  No prior experience is necessary, and all are welcome at the table. Its best to get in at the beginning of the campaigns, but new players can be added in mid-season.

We hope to see you soon at Pathfinder & Starfinder Society Thursdays!
